Mastering

Many online services now offer a fixed price for mastering each song, no matter what needs doing to them. That probably means they offer a fixed method of mastering them. Some current favourite mastering plug in like T Racks or maybe a TC Finalizer with the wide CD setting?

HL Studios charges for the time it takes to make your song sound the way you want it to. We use whatever tools in our arsenal that are needed to achieve this. The price is £30 + VAT per hour and if you want to know how much time your song or songs will take to master the answer is “I don’t know, I haven’t heard them yet!”

By all means send us the tracks and a good description of what you want to achieve with them, mastering wise (or better still, send an example of a mastered track you like the sound of that’s of a comparable style to your songs). Then we can give you a fair estimate of what it will take to master them.
